Summary of this Book...
Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of those deadbeats is her father - the guy responsible for ruining her mother's life.

But when she's captured by Bones, a bounty hunter and a vampire, she finds herself forced into an unholy partnership.

In exchange for his help in finding her father, and still astonished she hasn't ended up as his dinner, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. But that's not all Bones has to show her - Cat's starting to believe maybe vampires aren't all evil after all, especially ones as cute as Bones. She's half-convinced that being half-dead doesn't have to be all bad.

But before she can enjoy her newfound status as confident kick-ass demon hunter Cat finds herself, and Bones, hotly pursued by a band of killers. She's is going to have to pick a side - and fast . . .
This type of Book is good for...
Teens/vampire story fans
I especially liked...
Luckily, enough new-to-me elements of vampire lore it to be different and not feel like I'd read the book before.
I didn't like...
Unfortunately as an English person I found Bone's dialogue a little annoying. The tendency to say 'luv' at the end of every single sentence was irritating. The whole thing seemed rushed - the relationship between Cat & Bones in particular.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
I'm not going to rush off to read the next novel in the series. Although, I may read them at some point
The author of this Book...
New York Times bestselling author Jeaniene Frost has always been drawn to the strange. As a child, she and her sisters would sneak out and watch horror movies at every opportunity. At 12, she began writing poetry. Shortly after that, she read her first romance novel, and it was love at first read! She knew she wanted to write her own novel someday, but figured she had plenty of time. That same "plenty of time" mentality also lingered past her teens and through her twenties, however. It wasn't until Frost was almost 30 that she realized she'd either have to start then--or resign herself to never doing it.
I recommend this Book because...
Its not bad. You won't necessarily feel like you've read it before.
