Cath is from Chicago but living in London working at a local museum. She has managed to leave her bad girl behavior behind for the past two years until she goes on a blind date and makes the mistake of mixing amphetamines and a few drinks. She wakes at the apartment of the handsome businessman named Nev, who is her exact opposite. She, the former goth girl with tattoo's of her mistakes, and he a wealthy British Banker. A steamy romance occurs between the two despite Cath's attempts to keep things casual.

Contemporary Romance

I liked the story of opposites attract. It was put into a new light with the female having more of the past secrets instead of the man.

I didn't care for the amount of sex included. I don't think I needed to have every climax described in detail every time the characters eyes met. Their eyes met a lot.

I thought this was a good story. It had it's moments of being very good but it took me a long time to finish this 184 page book. I think that might have been partly due to the fact it didn't hold my interest as well for me to keep picking it back up and finish it. I also realize that a lot of described sex is popular currently, but I don't think adding more makes a story better. If it's something you like to read, then this book might work better for you.
