Summary of this Book...
Young Charlie McGee is a very special girl. The result of scientific experimentation on her parents, she has the ability create fires wherever and whenever she chooses, by force of will alone. On the run from sinister government agents with her telekenetic father, she only wants to forget her monstrous abilities, and live a normal life. When the pair are captured, Charlie must decide between saving her father and using her fiery powers at the whim of a government only interested in using her...as a weapon!
This type of Book is good for...
King fans!
I especially liked...
As usual, Stephen King has produced a thrilling, compelling tale full of suspense and it's easy to get involved with the characters, particularly the father.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
As always, I wanted to read more King. It is my goal to read all of his books. They're just so long!

Stephen King (Stephen Edwin King) was born in Portland, Maine, in 1947. He won a scholarship award to the University of Maine and later taught English, while his wife, Tabitha, got her degree. It was the publication of his first novel Carrie and its subsequent adaptation that set him on his way to his present position as one of the bestselling authors in the world.
I recommend this Book because...
Stephen King is an awesome writer. This is slightly less horrific than his others so may appeal to more readers.
