This is the true story of a Border Collie named, Chaser, and her teacher, who is in his 80's. Together they have mastered so much in communication, including teaching Chaser to differentiate among more than 1,000 objects. This is the story of Professor Pilley's profound love for his dog. He teachers her, but more importantly, he observes and learns from her teaching, which is much more interesting to me.

He is quite an open-minded human.

that he learns from his dog. I try and observe and learn from my Boo every day. I found myself smiling and nodding about a lot of the situations in the book.

like Chaser is where she is meant to be. She keeps Mr. Pilley young while he takes excellent care of her.
