This Stephen King story is about a nerdy kid who can't seem to do anything right until he purchases a car to rebuild. The former, deceased owner of the car had named it Christine.

As Arnie repairs and pours his love and passion into the restoration of Christine, the car reciprocates by possessing Arnie. Arnie becomes a super-cool rocker like James Dean’s role in the Wild Ones. The longer Christine and Arnie are together the more psychotic Arnie becomes. Christine becomes his instrument of vengeance for all the wrongs committed against him.

Former students who used to pick on Arnie are summarily executed by Christine and by Arnie. Arnie, by this time has become as big a thug as those who used to pick on him and is quite insane.

Eventually Arnie is killed and Christine is destroyed... or is she?

The suspense, and the transformation of both Arnie and Christine held me riveted.

I wanted to relax a bit then watch another Stephen King movie.

For anyone who enjoys suspenseful movies, good rock and roll music, and Stephen King stories, this is a must see.
