A bounty hunting stranger named Smith dies and ends up having to make a deal with a bartender named Snappy, whose real name is Satan. And these 'Old Ones' will take over not only Earth, Heaven, and Hell, but Satan himself. Fortunately Smith is given a few extras for this job, but it still won't be very easy!

The way he kept the action moving and the descriptive characters he used.

For 190 pages I found about 19 typos in this. I know he wrote it with this brother, John L. Lansdale, and it was published by Subterranean Press, but I wonder how this many errors could slip by.

A little depressed how this book was presented. I've read a few other books by Joe, but this one just didn't seem up to his standard.

Joe R. Lansdale had published a lot of other books, including Briar Patch Boogie and Fender Lizards.

If you like a wild and crazy ride by a wild and crazy writer, then this book is probably right up your alley.

At 190 pages it's a fairly easy one or two day read.
