Summary of this Book...
From Amazon:
Home Economics Household Skills is a complete year's worth of curriculum. It combines Kitchen Skills along with Home & Personal Management Skills. Your daughter will practice the necessary skills to help make her become proficient in the household, her personal life, around the kitchen, as well as in relationships with others. Included is 36 week's worth of character trait study devotions to help her enhance true beauty that can only come from the inside. We have also included personal checklists and evaluations, and weekly teacher evaluations and graded sections. This is the single most important class that you can have your daughters take for their future. They can gain every skill in the educational realm but if they don't know how to grow in character and practical life skills they will be missing out on the basics of life.
This type of Book is good for...
This book is geared towards homeschool families of teenage girls to be used as a Home Economics class.
I especially liked...
The blogger may be on her way to learning a few things herself. By combining her previous two books, Home Economics: Household and Personal Management Skills with Home Economics Kitchen Skills: Becoming a daughter with purpose (Training our daughters series) (Volume 1) she has finally created a homeschool resource for parents that could possibly be useful.
I didn't like...
I'm pretty pissed I didn't realize this is the exact same content found in the books I already bought.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
After reading a total of four books by this blogger, I have to ask myself if I could do a better job. If these basic and unedited books can actually sell, what am I afraid of? I can't do any worse.
This Book made me feel...
This book has given me a little bit of self-confidence and inspiration.
The author of this Book...
Amy Mayron is a mom of ten children and a blogger of many poorly written blog posts that she now sells as books.
I recommend this Book because...
Personally, I feel like using this book as curriculum for a complete school year is stretching it too thin. If I were to teach this I'd only use it for a semester of 1/2 credit.
I don't recommend this Book because...
This is not a $30 book.
