Summary of this Book...
This is the 27th in the official Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. There are also a bunch of unnumbered books that aren't really part of the series but also feature Stephanie and some of the characters from the series. I think this series, like most, is best enjoyed by reading from the first book in order but Evanovich does a good job of bringing people up to speed so, unlike some series, you could just jump in anywhere and still enjoy it.

There's a reason these books are popular. They're hilarious, action-packed and addictive. I'd read the next one right now if it were ready.

Stephanie and Lula, Stephanie and her wild grandmother, and Stephanie and other characters have some crazy moments and close calls in this adventurous story of Stephanie trying to help her grandmother get her rightful fortune and glory. There are a large number of dangerous people who also want said fortune and glory so there's plenty of drama, action and tension.

I greatly enjoyed this book.
This type of Book is good for...
People who like action, adventure, mystery, comedy, highly unusual characters, and/or drama.
I especially liked...
I've loved Stephanie, her Grandmother and Lula through the whole series. They did not disappoint in this book. Surprisingly, I ended up liking the new Potts character.

I also liked all the action, the fact that I laughed out loud several times, and Evanovich's writing style.

I'm intrigued by the new Gabriella Rose character and looking forward to the new series featuring her.
I didn't like...
The romance in this book really fell short for me. Having sex isn't the same as romance. And ... the book jacket implied that Stephanie would finally choose between Ranger and Morelli but I didn't get any sense of permanency from the end. Also, I don't know of any guy who'd have Ranger's attitude. And I don't know of any woman who'd have let the things Stephanie saw go as easily as she did for Morelli. Maybe there are real people out there like that, but I haven't met them. Or if I have, they haven't revealed their feelings to me.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read the next in the series. I sure hope there will be a next.
This Book made me feel...
Like I was Stephanie and on a wild and crazy adventure.
The author of this Book...
From Amazon:
"Janet Evanovich is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Stephanie Plum series, the co-authored Fox and O’Hare series, the Knight and Moon series, and the Lizzy and Diesel series as well as twelve romance novels, the Alexandra Barnaby novels, Troublemaker graphic novel, and How I Write: Secrets of a Bestselling Author."
I recommend this Book because...
It was a fun and great read.
Further Comments...
I believe I've read all 27 books in this series. I borrowed my copy from my local library.
