Summary of this Book...
This is the third book in the Bleecker Street Inquiry Agency series. I've thoroughly enjoyed the series so far and was excited to learn what was behind Eunice's secrecy in the previous books. I think that this is technically a historical Christian romance but there is also mystery, humor, suspense and drama. The romance was focused on Arthur and Eunice but there was romance in quite a few other couples' lives too. I laughed out loud several times. It was a great story and included a furthering of the previous two heroine's stories.
This type of Book is good for...
Someone who likes a good story, adventure, suspense, romance, history, humor, plot twists, surprises, secrets, questionable undercover assignments and/or Christian stories.
I especially liked...
The characters. I loved Eunice and her agents, her bodyguard, Arthur, of course, but also his grandfather and brother Chase, and Eunice's mother, aunt, and other characters. I appreciated the humor, especially after the super tense undercover assignment that could have been tragic.
I didn't like...
I would have appreciated a stronger faith element to the story. I doubted that the evil nurses would have attacked one at a time but the story wouldn't have worked if they mobbed the person they were attacking. I do think the book could have been a bit shorter in places without losing anything.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read the next one. Though I'm not sure if another is planned.
This Book made me feel...
Everything. Like I was Eunice on her adventures and romance. I could really relate to Eunice.
The author of this Book...
