Summary of this Book...
SPOILER ALERT!!!

Oh, my goodness! I was so excited when I first read that Marian had written a follow-up to ‘Rachel’s Holiday.’ I’ll be honest, there was a part of me that worried I would be disappointed. I mean, I’ve been waiting twenty-five years to read this! But no need to worry. The moment I started to read; I was in Rachel’s world again. Her voice is clear and distinctive, and it felt like meeting with an old friend.

I loved that Rachel now works in The Cloisters. It is a great way of tying readers back to Rachel’s first story. And Luke … oh, my heart. It is so clever how I spent the first part of the book believing Rachel’s distorted view of events, believing that Luke had been a jerk. I’d forgotten just how convincing Rachel can be when she’d deluding herself. My heart swung back and forth on whether I could trust Luke or not.

The Yara storyline is beautifully written. I was in tears reading it.

I also cried at the end. I had just resigned myself to Rachel and Luke being over forever. But, just like in ‘Rachel’s Holiday,’ Luke took my breath away in the end.

One other thing I have to mention – the title. I wondered what the again part referred to. It turned out to be an act of pure genius. I loved the way we found out.

Fabulous! I absolutely adored this book! THIS is why I love Marian Keyes.
This type of Book is good for...
People who love a good story told by an incredible storyteller. It will appeal to people who love character-driven novels. The way the Walsh family come back to life in this, the sixth novel bout them, is beautiful. They have all grown since we last saw them, but they are still so very much themselves.
I especially liked...
The end is perfect. The story of Luke and Rachel had me mesmerised. Oh, my gosh, and Yara ... This book had me in tears at more than one point. But then, as always with Marian, I was laughing at some spot-on description of someone on the next page. I thought Marian Keyes handled the issues of addiction and losing a baby with love and care. I absolutely felt Rachel's pain. Or, some of it, anyway. It's just brilliant.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Talk to other people who have read this book. Go back and start reading all Marian's books from 'Watermelon' in the beginning.
This Book made me feel...
Happy. Sad. Content. Hooked. In awe.
The author of this Book...
Marian Keyes. An Irish writer who I absolutely adore. She has a unique way of telling a story that makes you laugh one second and cry the next. She sees people in ways that are so honest, so observant. And she is an incredible lady, to boot.
I recommend this Book because...
It's so freaking good! Maybe, read 'Rachel's Holiday' first though. It is the original Rachel Walsh book.
