Summary of this Book...
This is the 6th of 7 books in the Chronicles of Narnia series. Although it was my least favorite so far, it did have some lovely moments and I'm still glad I read it. There were some old friends featured and some of the best parts of Narnia and some nice moral lessons along with the kids' adventures.

"From the Back Cover:
NARNIA . . . where owls are wise, where some of the giants like to snack on humans (and, if carefully cooked, on Marsh-wiggles, too), where a prince is put under an evil spell . . . and where the adventure begins. Eustace and Jill escape from the bullies at school through a strange door in the wall, which, for once, is unlocked. It leads to the open moor . . . or does it? Once again Aslan has a task for the children, and Narnia needs them. Through dangers untold and caverns deep and dark, they pursue the quest that brings them face to face with the evil Witch. She must be defeated if Prince Rilian is to be saved."
This type of Book is good for...
People who like children's and young adult stories, animal stories, talking animals, paranormal stories, adventure stories, and/or have read the other Chronicles of Narnia books.
I especially liked...
The vivid descriptions of the fantasy elements, the characters, and the good vs. evil elements. I especially loved Aslan's parts and the full circle part that was new to this story.
I didn't like...
Eustace was my least favorite character from previous stories so it was a tough sell for me to see him as a hero in this one. Not that he was spectacularly heroic... and Jill could have been a lot more likeable. I had more empathy for her at the beginning than during most of the rest of the story.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Go to bed and dream happily ever after dreams.
This Book made me feel...
Like my grandfather was telling me a bedtime story.
