Summary of this Book...
Exactly the same as Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, just with lots of pretty pictures!

Summary of HP3 -

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the third book, and therefore the third school-year for Harry. Before the school year even starts, things get weird, with Harry's "Aunt Marge" visiting and getting blown up like a balloon. Harry runs away, and encounters the knight bus, which looks like a lot of fun. Once in London, he meets up with the Weasley's, and preps for his third year. Whilst there, he hears about Sirius Black, a dangerous criminal who has escaped from Azkaban prison, and may be looking for Harry. On the train to Hogwarts, Harry is knocked unconcious by a Dementor, and his year has barely begun. Between dementors, werewolved, supposed serial killers and godfathers. Harry has one hell of a year.
This type of Book is good for...
If you enjoyed Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets. You can't read them out of order, after all!

The illustrated book in particular is good to get kids interesteed while reading, and good for those that are just massive Potter fans, and like to see what someone else has invisioned whilst reading the book. Some of the characters look quite different to how I might've imagined them, although they also make complete sense.
I especially liked...
This is my favourite book in the HP series, so it's only natural I had to get the illustrated version. It's a beautiful book. The illustrations are amazing, and work seemlessly whilst reading the book. This book features the whole of HP3, as well as the illustrations, so reading along, and then studying the illustrations as well was great fun.
I didn't like...
The book is hardcover, and bloody heavy! That can't really be helped though!
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It's a great book, even though I wasn't a fan of the film so much. If you're a Potter fan, you'll know Dumbledore's reaction was just painful to watch. Although, that's a story for another review.
This Book made me feel...
Sad. I know what happens in future books regarding Sirius, and as he's my favourite character, it just reminded me of that.
The author of this Book...
J.K. Rowling. A genius, of course.

The illustrator is also pretty damn amazing. I loved the style of his illustrations.
I recommend this Book because...
It's a wonderful accompaniment to the story.
