Summary of this Book...
College girls:{3/4 lesbians, maybe one ''curious''} set out on their life path in their on unique way and how heart breaking and confusing a ride it can be. I felt for a couple of the characters and it made me think about my sexuality and how I might respond in their instance.
This type of Book is good for...
LGBT community or anyone who know Skyy & her work. Those coming of age, and trying to define themselves may enjoy this too.
I especially liked...
The friendships already established and how the ones already in their own clique were there for each other even when they screwed up major. We should all have people like that we depend on.
I didn't like...
Given content, swearing goes on, a possible near-date-assault that was thankfully avoided. Some mild violence but not too graphic. If you're not comfortable reading about something lgbt then this may not be for you.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Applaud the author for keeping it real. I appreciate it, even if I cant personally identify I felt that I might be able to be friends with some for these girls in real life. I wouldn't mind checking out future books from her.
This Book made me feel...
Mixed emotions. I felt happy, mad, confused and anything else besides. I just really felt connected to these girls. They needed a hug & maybe some life counseling I thought.
The author of this Book...
Knows how to bring her characters to life that stays to true to life and captures all the emotions and tumult that comes along with it.
I recommend this Book because...
I just saw it once & couldn't find again so I was happy to check it out now. Sometimes, getting a different perspective from your own can open your eyes to things you might not of thought to on your own.
I don't recommend this Book because...
Again if the LGBT community isn't something you want to read about you may not enjoy this.
Further Comments...
I enjoyed reading this just as a reader trying something new. Regardless of who you are, I think you could enjoy this just as human beings trying to find love in all its wonderful and heart breaking glory.
