Summary of this Book...
This is a gripping story narrated by Kambili a fifteen year old Nigerian girl who lives a privileged life with her parents and brother, Jaja at Enugu. The family is however oppressed by the religious fanaticism of the father,Eugene, a kind and generous man, by all appearances. After Kambili and Jaja get to visit their Aunt in Nsukka, things begin to change in their home.

This is a book I will definitely recommend.
I especially liked...
The detailed description given by the author, so that every scene is vividly painted in the reader's eye.
I didn't like...
I loved the book from beginning to end.
This Book made me feel...
Nostalgic. It took me back to my childhood days, and made me see that there isn't much difference in the way Nigerians and Ghanaians live.
The author of this Book...
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
I recommend this Book because...
The story is well told, and leaves no loose ends untied.
