Summary of this Book...
From Amazon -

A former blood slave, the vampire Zsadist still bears the scars from a past filled with suffering and humiliation. Renowned for his unquenchable fury and sinister deeds, he is a savage feared by humans and vampires alike. Anger is his only companion, and terror is his only passion - until he rescues a beautiful aristocrat from the evil Lessening Society.
Bella is instantly entranced by the seething power Zsadist possesses. But even as their desire for one another begins to overtake them both, Zsadist's thirst for vengeance against Bella's tormentors drives him to the brink of madness. Now, Bella must help her lover overcome the wounds of his tortured past, and find a future with her.

*SPOILERS FROM HERE*

Zsadist has probably been my favourite brother across the books. He's the deeply troubled, extremely violent, quiet and reserved one. He'll only feed from humans, who he'll frequently kill after. Yeah, he's the dark one, with a seriously messed up history. I think that's why seeing his redemption and changing across this book is what I enjoyed the most. Not only did he pull himself together mentally, you also witnessed his physical improvement throughout. He no longer starved himself or hurt himself. I wouldn't say it wsa heart-warming to read, but it was good to read about someone pulling themselves out of darkness like that.

There was an epilogue to this book, and I'm glad there was. The book "ended" on Bella being pregnant. Pregnancy is apparently dangerous for vampires, so I'm glad I didn't have to wait until the next book to read the heart-warming scene between Bella, Zsadist and their daughter.
I didn't like...
Bella, Zsadist's mate, was kind-of annoying. I found myself wanting to throw the Kindle a few times when she talked. Although, I had this to some degree with Mary, the woman in the last book, so I'm beginning to wonder if the author just writes somewhat annoying female characters, which would be slightly disappointing.

This is the book where you get to see a female vampire in their "Needing". Basically, on heat. It was a little eye-roll worthy for me. Non-stop sex for... I think it was about 24 hours. I mean, good for them, but I got a little bored of reading about!
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read the next one, of course. Haven't done that yet though. It's on my to-do list.
Further Comments...
Bella, Zsadist's mate, was introduced in the last book. It was nice there was some crossover between the two stories this time. Felt like a little more of a natural movement onto the next brother, instead of just a sudden switch, like what happened between 1 and 2.
