Summary of this Book...
This book includes two "classic holiday stories from #1 New York Times and USA Today bestselling author" Debbie Macomber. The stories are sweet, slightly funny and have a traditional romantic happy ending.

The first story is about Caitlin and Joe, who had a play marriage when Caitlin was eight years old and Joe was ten, then soon after that one family moved and they didn't see each other for over ten years. When they met again, Caitlin thought she was in love with her boss but Joe did his best to win her heart for real.

The second story was more complex, involving major plot lines around four people with minor plot lines around another two and a whole lot of other minor characters. It involves a house exchange and some unexpected visitors at each house, a mother, her best friend, her daughter and a whole lot of humor and drama.
This type of Book is good for...
People who want heartwarming stories.
I especially liked...
Emily and Faith's characters, the Christmas town of Leavenworth, the neighbor kids in the Christmas town, the humor and interesting Christmas traditions. The strength of some of the family ties.
I didn't like...
Caitlin's obliviousness. It does have more telling than showing and could have been more concise.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Call my mom. But she's in heaven so not really possible.
This Book made me feel...
Cozy.
The author of this Book...
Has written many best-selling books and most of them are sweet romances.
I recommend this Book because...
It's a nice, easy read, sweet and heartwarming, and perfect for before bed.
I don't recommend this Book because...
It's a bit old fashioned. If that bothers someone, they wouldn't enjoy the book.
Further Comments...
I found this book on my last shelf of books that I bought at a library discard clearance sale. It was in the category of "read and give away when done." So I'm either going to donate it to charity or pop it in our neighborhood's new "little free library." I enjoyed the stories and suspect the new owner will too.
