I did not see the end coming! It was an Aha! moment I hadn't expected.

I did have to go back and listen to the epilogue a second time. It was a little confusing at first, but looking back, I think it was because it threw me for a loop and I wanted to make sure I heard it right.

I pondered over this psychological thriller after finishing it. The twists and turns had me going, wondering where it would end and how the authors would tie things up. Very clever.

Sarah Pekkanen has written several novels, previously working as an investigative journalist and feature writer.

It has a satisfying ending, though unexpected, which I believe many readers like myself, like. The twisty, back and forth outlook through the eyes of two different women, make things interesting.

I'd noticed this title around but never felt drawn toward it. In fact, I didn't have high expectations when I finally decided to try it. What a nice surprise to have actually enjoyed it very much!
