Summary of this Book...
I read the Kindle version of this, and there was a number of typos. I don’t know whether that was down to whoever converted it into an e-book, or to editing that took place between the author and her editor. This kind of put me off a little, though. It seemed a bit unprofessional.

Onto the story … I enjoyed it. I was interested to find out how the book would end because I didn’t really trust any of the characters. I liked the suspense created by how explosive Jonathan’s complaint would end up being.

Here is something I didn’t expect: I found myself feeling a little sorry for Jonathan near the end. He is an utterly contemptible character, but seeing him at home with his father, it made me realise just how young he is. Also, in some ways, quite vulnerable. I think it comes down to the theory that bullies are generally bullied by someone themselves.

The end was slightly predictable. The twists came, but not in great force. However, the plot itself felt a little flat. First, we hear Alex’s version of events, then we hear the same events but with Jonathan’s spin. We then watch the results of Jonathan’s claims. It’s not hugely exciting. That said, I was interested enough to read to the end because I did really want to know what had happened to Jonathan. David’s actions weren’t really surprising.

Overall, not the best psychological thriller I’ve ever read, but not the worst.
This type of Book is good for...
A quick read that doesn't involve too much thinking.
I didn't like...
The whole thing just felt a little unprofessional. Unpolished. Plus, it was predictable and not very imaginative.
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Read something good.
This Book made me feel...
A little irritated.
I don't recommend this Book because...
If you want to read a good psychological thriller, there are a ton of much better examples out there.
