I believe this book is very well written. It describes the author's recovery from emotional and physical abuse. It tells the reader that there is hope beyond abuse. Nobody chooses to be abused. However, we all choose to allow our predators to destroy us for years afterwards. Ms. Crook takes a hard line against being a victim. | ||
