Since becoming a fulltime author, she has published more than 28 fiction and non-fiction titles for children and adults. In 2010, two of her books made the Children’s Book Council of Australia Notable Books list and she was the recipient of two Whitley Awards for natural history writing, in the categories Zoological Conservation and Popular Zoology. |
