About Me
I'm a 35 husband and proud uncle living in Chicago, IL. I grew up in rural Illinois, about 90 miles southwest of where I live now. I joined the site because I have a story I want to tell. I've never written fiction before, but I'm working on a book inspired by a woman who took her life before I ever met her. The little I know about her has changed my perspective on life. If I don't post often, it's because I'm shy when it comes to writing, and publishing my stories drains me emotionally.

I'm almost embarrassed to start by saying I'm a Cubs fan. Not because they're known as the lovable losers, but because sports are so insignificant. I'd like to one day lead by saying my greatest interest is writing, but I'm not polished enough yet.
