| I have been a writer since my 20s, and wanted to write since I was old enough to hold a pen. I grew up on C.S. Lewis and E.Nesbit, and later Tolkien. However, I have followed a series of careers to earn a living, including acting, secretary, learning support assistant, special needs lecturer, (and various other jobs) until I finally settled on genealogy as a self-employed way to earn money.
