I am feeling a little bogged down. I have been writing ceaselessly and my debut manuscript will be returned around Friday from my editor. She says she likes it and that makes me happy. But, for all my toiling I have nothing to show for it. It has been a while since I sent out my story and I am getting antsy. I am worried how my story will be received. I have to keep trusting God. The book is in HIs hands.

So, I am thinking of submitting my manuscript to probably the most substantial Christian writing agency in the US. The one thing I am missing is a thriving social platform. My question is-how I get one! I have a website with six subscribers, but they are inactive and do not communicate with me. I have tried Twitter, but I have seen how hard it is to get attention much less book conversions on Twitter. Also, maintaining just 200 followers is hard!

To published authors who have achieved all this-what is your secret? Please chime in for those who are in the same boat.

This will be brief. I'm a bit fatigued.

My grandma's dog is very sick was admitted to the pet hospital. He was bleeding through his rectum and had twigs and grass in his stools. They checked his vitals and had abnormal symptoms for quite a few criteria. Three of them were high red blood cells, dehydration, and temperature. That's all I recall. He is supposed to be in the hospital for 48 hours. Hopefully, he will respond to treatment in which case he will make a sure recovery.
The bill will be hefty but my grandma can pay it with no trouble. It is hard seeing Charlie, her dog, like how he was. Like I said before, me, my mom and Jim are caring for him along with her other dog.

I messed up with my attempted combining of files documents into one file. I found out I was doing things the hard way after I asked YouTube how to automatically merge files the easy way. lol. I need to recopy the three story segments to my laptop from my flash drive. I wish I knew had to do things the easy way first.

I discovered my resume did not reach the inn I want to work at. I'll have to tell them.

On another note, I did two anniversary reviews-one of which was very extensive. The author obviously did not proofread it.

Well that is it for now. Goodbye.

I just did three anniversary today. One of them was a mystery of sorts about a man who is being driven batty by a weird noise in his new apartment. It was rather extensive but it held my attention the whole way through. It had over six-hundred reviews to boast of! It was composed in 2013.
I really need to get on with the publishing situation. This means my website being revived and formatting my story onto a single file. I have to do this with two stories actually. I need MS Office already! I must continue my out and out Christian story entitled The Paraclete Order.

I don't care for the way the keyboard is so far from me. I have to scrunch my hands in an awkward position. Maybe I'll just have t get used to it, lol.

So my mom will be paying me $60 in cash each week I help her at my grandma's place. Off course I turned down the offer at first but my mom was persistent. lol. I really don't think I do anything that much. Oh, well. I mostly wash dishes and pack and unpack things. It is rather relaxing at my grandma's house. From now on I'll remember to bring my reading material. I won't have to bring my Bible because I have one on an app.
My step dad worked half a day from his first job. But he is working his second job however.

I am eager to enter the Writer's Cramp. But I need Word first.

In the midst of all that is happening, I must stay focused on God. I need that Bible study book that my friend Craig has.

Well, I'm getting tired. Goodbye.

Well, my mom and I will be leaving soon from my grandma's place. It's been okay here. The next time around I will have MS Word. (= So I'll be able to write my stories. But, I've been thinking that If I do get a job at the hotel, I will not be able to come when it is my mom's turn to take care of my grandma. I only say this because if I do get Word, I will be able to submit a resume for the job.

I did three anniversary reviews today, two of which I only received 100 GPs. I was going to ask why this happened, but I thought that would seem impertinent on my part. I think I should tithe from my allowance. The laptop purchase took a big chunk out of my savings. There are other things I could get including a LT anti glare screen touch up and a computer bag.

Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against power, principalities, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places. Take up the whole armor of God that you may stand I the evil day. And having all to stand, stand therefore having girded yourself in the truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, above all take up the shield of faith which will quench all of the fiery darts of the wicked one. Take up the helmet of salvation and the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Praying with all prayer being watchful to this end with perseverance and supplication be made for all the saints.

I think I got that right. I still need to pin the reference number for most of my verses I have memorized.

I forgot my Bible and my verse printouts. And also my book I am reading. lol. Well I have to pack up to go. I'll be back on my blog tomorrow. Tootles!

What another great day! I did mean to get up and get a jumpstart on my morning at 5:30 AM. Today was my two off days from the gym. But, still I wanted to get up early. lol.

Not by righteous works which we have done but according to his mercy has He saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.

I got those verses just today.
I did more revising today for close to an hour-and-a- half. I shot Tobber a segment of my first chapter. I listed it as just for my eyes and gave him a passkey. I think that’s how it is done. lol.
My mom is getting things ready for our friends who are Hispanic. We have a load of excess items and we need to make room. My mom also wants to move a large chest we up on a bridge platform that’s about ten feet high. We’ll have to use the heavy duty ladder. My mom and I are afraid of heights. lol. So Jim will have to do it. My mom loves arts and crafts. And when she gets something started, she is in head first.
I honestly don’t share the same admiration. But I think that is how it is with males and females. Chicks dig arts and crafts. lol. Maybe that is why girls like flowers.
I should end my PS+ subscription. Like I stated, I don’t play games anymore. I would consider playing Chad if he wanted. I should visit him. It’s been years.
Well I’m going to the store to get two things. Goodbye.

I’m so proud of myself. I wrote for an hour and a half. Most of the work was editing and revising. lol. My book is looking better every day. I have about 6,500 words down. I actually had to alter the opening chapter that called for omitting entire paragraphs. But it is a good thing I did though.
My family and I have been watching a show called the Good Doctor. It’s about an autistic doctor. It’s a very original premise.
Well I checked put Walgreens and it listed on the career page that there was one position at the second closest location near me. I called up and talked to the store manager; the job was just recently taken. Darn! But there is still an employment opportunity really close by. A Fairfield hotel that is nearing completion will require workers quick when it opens. I’m going to watch it like a hawk.
I’ve just thought of the different jobs that Fairfield will offer. I want to be a desk clerk or a room service person. In no way do I want to be a maid or a janitor.
If we receive the testimony of man, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony that God has testified of his son. He who believes in God has the witness in himself. He who does not believe God has made Him a liar because he has not believed in the testimony of God. And this is God’s testimony. That you may have eternal life; and that life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life, he does not have the Son of God does not have life.
I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God and that you may know you have eternal life and that you continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.
as you have given Him authority over all flesh, and have given eternal life to as many as you have given Him,

That’s all I got.
I’m just a little eager to play games with Chad. That’s the only time I can play. But, he did say he was having internet issues. Oh well.
Well I have to go have to go. My mom wants to watch The Good doctor with her. Goodbye.

My goodness! What a week! I haven’t written in my blog in nine days. I have kept up with my new story for about four days now. I did go back and fix some issues. I came to an issue with the Biblical aspect of my piece. I’m afraid people will think I actually believe and advocate my creative elements. They’re simply to provide intrigue, lore and suspense. I still think the Christian message is prevalent though.
If we receive the testimony of man, the testimony of God is greater. This is the testimony that God has testified of His Son. He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself. He who does not believe has made Him a liar. Because he has not believed in the testimony He has given of his Son. and this is the testimony is this; that he has given us eternal life, and the life is in his son. He who believes in the son has life. He does not have the Son of God does not have life.
I think I may have nailed that one. lol.

I think I may have some writer’s cramp. I think this is due to how long I want to make this book. My story line must expand on a greater scale than my first book. Moreover, I need more than just two main characters like my first book. Right now I have two main characters. Either I will kill someone off or they’ll just fade away somehow. lol.
I still do not have a site for my book. My mom needs to get Windows 11. I’ll ask for that for Christmas.
Then there is the job situation; I need money for editing. I plan to re-apply for Walgreens after the 2nd of November. That is when I can apply again after I failed last time.
But God may have another plan for me. My mom and Bob prayed over me concerning this issue. God may have a job that will require my writing skills.
My mom and Jim are watching Fast and Furious. The original one is PG-13 I think. I never really cared for the movie line. They’ve made like six or more. Apparently it is popular.

Well that’s it for now. Goodbye.

I’m really working on my story. I have a little over 2k word down. Things are looking good so far. I have already done some editing – better to do it now than at the end of the story. lol. Tomorrow I will go through it again. Something will pop up I’m sure.
It’s still cooling down. I love it. I still must bundle up before I go to the gym at around 5:30 AM. It’s like 65 degrees at that time. I failed to go today. I’ll go tomorrow. lol.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil, cling to what is good. Be kindly affectionate to one another in love, in honor giving preference to one another. Not lacking in diligence but fervent in spirit, serving the Lord, rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer, distributing to the saints, given to hospitality.
Bless those who persecute you, bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice weep with those who weep, be of one mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble, do not be wise in your own opinion.
I think I got those down.
Well, I have to spend some time with the fam. Until tomorrow.

My goodness, what a day. Unfortunately I did not get up soon enough to see Susan at the gym. But I did go though. It was about 10:30 when I went there. I did see my old friend who goes later on to work out. We talked briefly while we were on the ellipticals. After that, she went to the stair machine. Then I left. I already did my cardio though. I was doing it to talk to her.
2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary. What is unseen is eternal.
Hebrews 10:39 For we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed but of those who believe and are saved.
I just memorized those two.

The weather is beautiful. We’re headed into October. Soon Halloween themed candy and toys will be everywhere. I don’t celebrate Halloween. Instead at all the Calvary Chapels have what is called a Harvest Festival. Candy is given to the kiddies and they still get to dress up but nothing scary. I am so tempted to eat chocolate but I must refrain. lol. I’ll only eat candy without cholesterol or fat. That means hard candy and gummy candy. Unfortunately, starbursts do not fall into that category. It actually has fat in it. I didn’t’ now that until about a week ago. Oh well.
I added to my story and it is looking good. I have about seven-hundred-and fifty words so far. And I still have not gotten through the first page of my outline. I’m going to stretch it out as much as I can. lol. I want to leave as much space in the story to add more to it. At the end of my first book I made the end where nothing can happen next.
I had two quiet times today. The Word is starting to be a joy. I like it.
I was reading from one of Bob’s handouts on faith. I don’t recall when we did it. It’s all good though. lol.
My mom needs to talk with the pharmacist as to what he requires if anything else is needed besides the three blood results. This has never happened before.
Well, that’s it for now. God bye.
