My blog picture above is located in the beautiful, scenic Sedona, Arizona. We vacationed there at the end of December, 2019 thru January, 2020 - right before the pandemic began. What a chaotic year it was, too! A scary time for all of us!
I am hoping that this blog will show my creativity, my heart and soul, and reveal a little more of myself. I'm a shy person at heart, don't post too much in Newsfeed, but I love reading what others are saying.
You've discovered the true joy of poetry!! I'm so glad you found something you also enjoy in DDP. I'm honored by its poets and you honor us by continuing to join us! Thank you for all of your contributions and I look forward to many more poems written by the Honorary Queen herself!
Hi Steph! This year it's been bad for us too! Growing plants outside in this heat can be a trial and error kind of thing. Get an early start in growing basil by starting them out in a pot before you put it outside in your garden. It will tolerate the heat so much better. That's how I start the spring season, planting my plants in pots before putting them out in the garden.
Dogs like to have fun, that why we put up a greenhouse. We had to battle the bunnies, our chickens and ducks, and other little critters. It just became a losing proposition!
Nice to meet you. I also listen to the X22 Report. I like cooking but I'm not as good as I would like to be. I also started growing a garden -- I have summer squash and marigolds. 3 time trying to grow basil, I hope the dog doesn't knock it over again. It's hard because the heat really zaps the plants.
My husband gave a fake name because he had girls clinging on to him, and wouldn't take no for an answer. I did it because I liked the idea of making a clean get-away. I was way too young to get serious; especially, when five of my high school classmates dropped out because they were pregnant!
