I see you're a newbie (that's a term of endearment here LOL). I just dropped by to say *Confettir* "Welcome to WDC!" *ConfettiO*.

I trust you will find that we're a welcoming and encouraging group. Like any collection of folks, some of us are a bit grouchier than others and some are just a bit crazy - but in a good way.

This site can be daunting at first but you'll soon get the hang of it. There's a whole library of "how to" videos available (see the top of the page - "Getting Started" and "Writing.Com 101") or just ask anyone.

I see you're into journaling. There's a whole community of bloggers - *Blush* I'm not sure what the differences are between journals and blogs - here (see left column - Bloggers) and you may want to drop by a few to get a feel for some of the groups.

Again, welcome! I hope you find what you need as you continue your journey of discovery and writing.
