Congratulations to all the winners!!!

This is definitely my favorite contest!!!

I may not have won but I had a blast writing my entry:

"~ Sky Diving ~

I actually called my granddaughter to collect fodder to write the section that is from her POV.

Fun, fun, fun!!!

I can't wait for the next round!

*Smile*

Thank you so much!!! Congrats to Weirdone-Back in the games and GERVIC 🐉 House Targaryen!!!
Question:

When you are planning a story. do you outline? I recently learned a new term, or perhaps I should say a new way of planning a story called quilting.

Have you heard of it?

I don't usually outline. I tend to be more of a pantser than anything else, though I do see the merit of having an outline, even a relatively simple one. But I've never heard the word 'quilting' used in terms of outlining, only ever in terms of making actual quilts.
Cubby~Cheering House Florent! - I will post more later.
Spring in my Sox - The concept threw me for a bit too. Basically, when you have an idea, run with it. Stop what you are doing and write it down. Add texture, dialogue, environment mapping, etc.

Do this each time you think about something you really want to add. When you get enough of these, then you organize, rearrange, etc.

It sounds time consuming to me, but I will try it out anyway.
Good day, all.

I will announce the winners today!

Note: I have decided to award all three prizes even though I did not get six entries. It is my first contest and I want to give them all out... just because.
Good day! Judging begins now.

The winner will be announced on or before April 15th.

I have decided to go ahead and award all three prizes.

Best regards,

Apologies for the no-show. The funnier I tried to make my entry, the more painfully unfunny it got.
Dave Ryan - No worries!

I've never heard of this dish, but seeing the 'country of origin' has me hungry for a piece of baklava! *Hungry*
Writer_Mike - It's a bread dip. Great with chips and veggies too.
Oh, I love Tzaziki! Thanks for sharing.

Just one more entry needed to award all prizes.
I hope to see you soon!

Just saw this. What an amazing quote:

Grief is love with no place to go.

Good quote and food for thought.
Good day, all.

Only three days left until the contest closes. I need at least one more entry before I can award all of the prizes.

I hope to see your entry very soon.

Best regards,

I had one effort prepared, which I then deleted as it was a stink-bomb. Even I would have given it last place (along with a 10k GP fine as punishment). I'll see if I can do better this weekend.
Dave Ryan - THANKS!
I'm working on an entry that I hope to have finished in time!
If you love historical fiction, you must check out this book: When We Were Brave by Suzanne Kelman.

It has it all - love, courage, sacrifice, redemption.

Hey all, I had to write a poem for a class I am taking. I have never attempted to write a poem before, at least not one that was not a dirty limerick of some kind. *FacePalm*

Please let me know what you think. Honest critique is appreciated.
