I finally got around to entering my first 48hr challenge:

Congratulations on winning "Invalid Item. Your poem was quite good and the win is deserved.

Thank you Sabaka, I appreciate your comment.
I just recently got slammed in a review of one of my poems. I guess I struck a cord with this person. I doubt it's worth reporting, but I'm wondering if this happened to you and how you dealt with it? To be honest, this makes me wonder if I truly messed up.

As with all reviews, take the good you can get from them and let go of the rest. I've gotten five star reviews that were useless and two star reviews that were helpful or thought provoking. As writers, we face a lot of criticism (and some abuse), but we are better off if we learn to let the bad stuff slide off, as hard as that may be.
Thank you all with your comments and emails. I can say this; even though I felt slighted, there is something good to come out of it. I replied to the reviewer in an email and had let them know there was something in the review to consider.
I haven't had it happen to me here yet (I find people here are more likely to give me positive reviews that aren't helpful, than negative reviews, helpful or otherwise), but I did have someone semi-recently give me what seemed like a pretty positive review (no constructive criticism or anything), but a 2.5 star rating. That stung, especially since it was the first rating on the item, so it displayed as an average rating of 2.5 stars.

Everyone else seems pretty on point though. Use what you can, and forget about the rest. It's obviously hard to do so, whether or not the criticism was justified. I'm glad it ended up giving you some help, and hopefully people are a bit kinder with that help in the future.
Hi friends, just wanting to say that I have added a few new items. Thank you all for your time.
Today I am taking the time to catch up with any belated email responses. I would also like to tell the WDC community :Thank You!". I also cannot say enough for that generous person who gave to me an upgraded membership. Thank you very much!
