I'm stuck in a world of reading "Monster Gaol over and over again and noticing more and more Gargoyles references that I probably wouldn't have understood without a bit of Google. Starting with the near-constant references to one Demona (Warden Destiny Sirtis), things quickly spiraled from there, involving references to other characters and eventually the staff themselves. Most recently, just when I thought the story couldn't surprise me with any more shoutouts, I searched "Destiny Sirtis" on Google Images and discovered that Demona's voice actor's surname is also Sirtis, after finding a picture featuring Demona's VA alongside a Demona cosplayer.

This isn't a bad thing by any means, although it is making me sad that I made my account shortly before former user redhurricane   closed his; I made my debut on August 14th, 2016 (and even then I didn't get any interest in Monster Gaol until this past December of 2017), and judging by the dates J. M. Darkly has listed in the "information and guidance" sections of Monster Gaol, "Monster Boondocks, "Monster Slopes, "Monster Tower, "Monster Shores, and "Monster Arms (all stories that were given to him by redhurricane), the latter account closed his doors on September 21st, 2016. It's always saddening when you show up after something cool has happened, and this is no exception. I only wish other users could take up the torch and continue on as redhurricane would. A few already have, such as TheCrimsonFreak , but you can't just force people to do what you want, as cool as that would be.

Now if you want me, I'll be rereading Monster Gaol chapters I've already read, hypothesizing ways the story can continue, hopefully honing my writing abilities, and possibly (but not highly likely) trying to become the redhurricane successor I seek.   Until next time.
