Yikes! How're you faring in your part of the country? Hope the quake wasn't too bad where you're at...
Unfortunately, I live in Chch, right where the earthquake hit. My suburb isn't too bad, but there's no water or waste management and most of my friend's houses are wrecked. *Sad*

Everyone is really supportive, though, and I'm sure we'll all pull through.

We've already got a fair bit boiled. We left the bottled water at the shop, though, because some people don't have running water at all - not even contaminated stuff - and it can be really hard to get to a shop or somewhere that does because the whole city is gridlocked.

The city is getting on the path to the recovery, and within a few months I'm sure a normal pace of life will come again. *Smile*
