Well...it's a sort of mysteryfantasypoetrynovelmishmash thing. For now. Lol. It's bits and pieces and ideas scattered and scribbled all over the place for years. What I am excited about is getting into prep and really getting down into it to see what I have and how it's going to turn out.

I posted a new story to my portfolio. It had been intended as a murder-mystery novel, but turned into a short story. Just figured out a title, but I'm unsure if it's fleshed out enough in each part, or if more is needed. At 4 am (which is when I wrote this), when one should be sleeping instead of writing, it's hard to make sense of much. Lol.

Greetings! I saw your post today regarding self-esteem, praise, and mastering a skill. I think it's awesome that you're taking your power back, and WdC is a great place to do it! There are so many resources for writers of all experience levels and in all genres, and the community is generally very strong and positive.

Take your time checking out the links you've received with all of your welcome emails, and if you've got time, I'd suggest hanging out on the Community Newsfeed (left menu bar, click Community, then Community Newsfeed at the top). There are plenty of friendly, (fun!) and helpful people there and it'll give you an idea of what goes on. Feel free to email me as well.
