It's all good, Dennis. Lang is Scottish for long, lums are chimneys, and reek means to be warm with the fire within. Which, in Scotland, is a good thing, their weather being what it is!

pwheeler, you arrived on this site just a scant few months before me, but you learned much more in your time on this site than I have. Of course, my brain is a few decades older than yours and I had to shove a lot of junk into the rear closet before I could start refilling it.

Web Witch, my fellow ex-Californian. Thank you for your taking the time to wish me a happy birthday. I've been absent too much over the past few months. You're quite a bit younger than I am, so you probably aren't familiar with the accumulation of doctor appointments that accrues when you get older.
