LISTER: Hang on a minute, guys. (He sees something, a purple substance, and picks some up.) Check this! KRYTEN: (Scanning) It's an unknown compound. Best guess is some sort of toxic venom secreted from a reptile source, not unlike Earth's snake or komodo dragon . LISTER: This is snake piss? KRYTEN: Well, I'm just completing a chemical analysis. (He appears socked) Err... LISTER: What? |

You should be getting something now. 3. Int. Starbug. RIMMER is talking to the others over the radio. RIMMER: Confirmed. Ident details: SS Ambrose. A seeding ship from the year 3375. Mission to introduce engineered life to potential S3 planets. This was a recon trip. A ten year check, strictly routine, to make sure that the amino acid chain had taken. 4. Int. Ambrose. LISTER, CAT, and KRYTEN are trudging around the dark ship while RIMMER speaks to them over the radio from Starbug. RIMMER: (VO) They had been using an advanced enhancement technique to accelerate the evolutionary process. It topped their best projections. The camera switches back an forth from group to group as they speak. RIMMER: They got ten million years of evolution per ten solar years. KRYTEN: (Whistles.) CAT: So what happened? RIMMER: Final entry: routine stuff. They spent the day cataloging and indexing new life-forms. Then it stops. |
