Worship lyrics, a song of surrender and adoration to God!
Merry Christmas, WDCers! Have a blessed evening with the people you love.
Peace!

Hello! I am sorry to have pretty much disappeared from the WDC Community, but I have wonderful news to report.
I HAVE WON MY FIRST NANOWRIMO!

I haven't yet decided If my novel is one to post in my port, it still needs a lot of work and the first draft isn't quite done yet. Pray, all you dears out there, that where-ever this novel is going, I don't let it drop. I hope to have the first draft finished by mid January at the latest.
Peace to all the people who encouraged me! God bless!
Sorry! (though at the moment I dont know who Im apologzing to)
I know I missed my weeken naming-an-author thing. In my defense, its been school, babysitting, chores, square dances, ccd, youth mass and a bunch of other random things. Not the least of which is NaNoWriMo prep.
Oh, and guess what? Some one here SMELLS like WET DOG and is covered a paste of FURRY-TOMATO! Who could that be? Thats right, ME! My dog got SKUNKED last night, and Ive spent the last hour and a half trying desperately to remedy that. He still reeks, and tonight, hes sleeping OUTSIDE!
On a lighter note, its ironic that a dog named Pepper was covered in Tomatoes.....
This year, I am going to try my first NaNoWriMo ever. I am preparing myself and my novel, wish me luck!
Monday night. Well! Its not the weekend, but my wifi access had been really limited the past few days. I'm late, but I'm here!
This weekend (close enough) I wanna share John Doe 's work, especcially his poem "Invalid Item. Its very sweet and romantic, using old-fasioned Shakespearean English and a lovely metaphor comparing the speaker's rejected love to a tree of Autum, and just in time for comming fall.
If you've read this, let me know what youve found on WDC.
I've just edited an item in my portfolio:
 The Amber'd Gown  (E)
Poem telling the story of an Apple Tree. 40 lines.

I didn't particularly like the beginning of this piece, because it sounded so... well, it sucked. "In seasonal accord"...? "the oddity of Nature's Dress"? Yeah. those phrases were reaching at best. I have no problem with the word 'accord', but originally there was a rhyme that matched it on the third line. It just didn't fit anymore, and I feel happier with the beginning as it is now.
Okay. I'm gonna start a new weekend tradition. I know no one reads my notebook, but I think this could be fun just for myself. Every weekend, Im gonna tag an author or two, and post a work of theirs worth reading. Here we go!

One interesting poem I came across earlier was by Dan Sturn , its the first Item I ever reviewed. Its called "The Book

If someone reads this and has another writer they'd recomend, let me know. Who does everyone like to read?

Helena The picture on the left of your notebook intrigued me. It is taken from the tomb where Jesus was laid, I believe. I had the privilege of visiting the sight a few years ago and it was very special to me. Maybe it is a similar picture.
I hope that you are enjoying WDC and the interactions of the sight.
If you need any help or have questions I will try to help you.
I will have a peek at your writing if I may.
thank you
