In the uk we call it Deseil whats it called in the US?
Mainly we call it "gas" (gasoline) as in "I need to put gas in my car." I've heard it called petrol as well but that seems to be more of an old-fashioned New England geographic linguistic holdout from this rule. Hope this helps! :)
