You completely took me there with this write. My heart actually hurts now from reading this. You wrote it so beautifully. The line that touched me the most for some reason was:

The sadder they look, the warmer I feel. I smell the rain. I feel it wash over me. It soothes my belly.

This was a sad, yet spiritual write. I think they were indeed lucky to have had you there- I imagine you shine with faith and give comfort and hope that people do go on to a better place.

God Bless- this was a touching tribute to a sad event that in its own way gives comfort. Thank you so much for sharing.
