Review of funny

I must be honest, I don't quite get the humor intended. It seems intriguing, but I keep waiting for a punchline that never comes. Something like "He perseveres for fifty years", or Little by little, he got the job done" or "It was a Mother of an ant". Perhaps a genetically altered ant? It is curious, though...

Review of MY HUSBAND

HOT STUFF! I think your poem is perhaps more ambiguous than even you may have intended? (But perhaps not). I really enjoyed the (sensual) word play between wife and computer. I experienced the poem as mischievous and light-hearted. And very amusing. I'll never look at a laptop again in quite the same way. Most enjoyable, thanks.

Hi Brenda,
Such a wonderful, succinct poem of the crucifiction, and a worthy song of gratitude.
I love the words you chose, and the movement and the rythm and the rhyme.
I've always found that the trick for poetry is being able to say more with less, and it seems you have it down pat.
And, being an old-fashioned poet myself, I love the rythm and the rhyme, unforced and natural.
Thank you.

Review of Inner Being

Wow! Nice, to the point.
For me, it says "Accept what comes along your path, it's all part of living."
From a grammar point of view, I would change the last sentence to "All part of being human"

For me, this poem communicates a fear of repercussion, borne of guilt imposed by societal mores and belief systems.
Reliving the transgression brings back the ecstacy then experienced, and there is hope of forgiveness.
It has a strong impact, and brings into question the customs of societies and its capacity to forgive. Can the trangressor forgive herself?
I always wonder what will change in life after death that beings would be free to love and mingle with whomsoever they choose, and why can't that freedom be afforded in the current life?
I'm an old-fashioned poet, and I love my rhyme, especially when it is accomplished without feeling forced. I miss rhyme.
Your poem had an impact on me, and I am inspired for having read it.
