I love this poem. Indeed God is great and all things are created by Him and nothing can be unless He wills it to be. Thank you for this poem for I too am a writer of Christian poetry. You should check out some of my poems I had posted. This poem tells the essential truth.
Very powerful imagery here. It reminds how short time is and how we have to make the most of it and establish relationships with others. We get so caught up in our own lives that we fail to see how much our disinterest can affect others until it is too late.
I loved the rhyme scheme. I also enjoyed the imagery, it reminded me of an Edgar Allen Poeish style. I am curious though, was this poem inspired by an actual event? If that is the case, what happen after this event? I really like to know this. Overall a very vivid poem.
