This is so sad. You don't think of how an animal would feel when stuck in a cage and that's what you did. You also showed that not all animal owners are good. I really love this story and I like that it can have different meanings to different people.

I almost cried while reading this in my class. It's just so sad and I have a feeling that she killed herself. The man or woman in the story is I think saying her eulogy and that makes me sad because she seems like a wonderful woman.

So true a smile can make people seem and feel happy but they sometimes are hiding behind the smile. I know that when I look into some of my friends eyes I can tell what they are feeling.

This is so true and I couldn't have written it any better. Our whole life could be a lie. No one knows if it is or not. I guess it just depends on how we view life. I also think this poem can be viewed differently. It can be about how people lying can effect their whole lives and it can be viewed as to how our whole life could be a lie because we're not real, the this is all an illusion theory of life. Anyway good poem and I really liked it.
