A good beginning to what looks like a great, developing story. Your descriptions are good, and the basic interactions of the characters are pretty sound. Make sure you expand your vocabulary a bit around your dialog, so that your verbs are more descriptive and active, and you can depend less on adverbs to color your conversations. Make sure that your romantic couple, the best friend, and the bully all have something going on in their characters that take them out of the standard molds and gives them some unique dimension of their own.
