I understand your concept on this poem. If you don't put your thoughts and words on paper, then the memories may be obsolete. Very good thought process! I do believe you could make it flow a bit smoother in the section: Footprints trapped in ink tap out memories imprinting that-which-would-be-forgotten on today. Between memories and imprinting seem like it needs a correction direction or a filler word. I did enjoy it!
I can feel the sorrow in this writing, very heartbroken and scared to walk life alone. Most people will be able to relate to this. Writing was a bit scattered, but then that's how the individual felt in the writing. Scattered, confused, and afraid are the feelings I got out of this. Good job on displaying these through this piece.
