Greetings, I have enjoyed reading your writing. I was sent two trees, they were suppose to be apple trees, but they turned out to be poplars. They are now almost three times as high as my one story house. I can not put my arms around one tree, they are huge. Did you ever think what you wrote would be the truth in another's life?

This is so beautifully enchanting. I have looked out my window at night and seen the clouds pass over the moon, leaving a light that would shine behind the cloud, some shining through places. It is beautiful when the moon has a gold ring around it. We have been given so much beauty and it is lovely to read of

A very interesting article. I have run into your tule fog, I am not sure ours here in Maine, has a name. It formed like a curtain, no idea how far up in the air it went. The other time, we had to use a flash ligh to inch our way out of the fog. It was scary. This was done, gradually driving less then 5 mph. It was sort of like old people walking their cars, not driving.

A great story line. I enjoyed it, I would of had goose bumps sitting around the campfire.
There are a couple of items you seem to be having trouble with, as follows:
each following sentences are partly written:
(He'd learned a long time ago not to ask questions(,)but he did wonder(,)....
...no problem seeing in the dark(,)but...
...Sam was not a demon(,)but despite...
These two areas of a comma before, (but)also (and).
I find myself studying the one about (and). Take a study for yourself if you feel weak in using these, and the commas.

A lovely poem oldwarrior, well done, out side of two small things, like a comma and a semi-colon. It is very deep and meaningful.
I think if I counted right it is in the 10th stanza, (but her love for me(,)and sacred vows...)
13th stanza, ( and the fires of hell were fed(;)
these are two independent clause. They could stand on their own.
But, it sounds better this way for the flow.

Must of been one of those portals you became a poet, smiling. Was tricky at the end of a couple of sentences, but it was the very end of the word that made it work with the second sentence. Enjoyed reading, some rhyming is straight forward, others can be rather sneaky, but works, smiling.

This was very moving, thank you stick for sharing this with us. Some poetry is
not meant to rhyme. It is poetry from the heart. You can not always walk in a
straight line, even if your life depended on it. So with poetry, the season, the
words, the imagination, the spark. Some of the greatest poets, have poems
that do not rhyme, like Basho.

I have always thought the sunset was beautiful, the colors of pastel or sometimes, here it would be the red, red, as it went down behind the mountains. When looking inside of ourselves we think over what we have done the sin we have committed, it to sets with the sun. A new day begins.
And out of the ashes of dead and broken bones and wings, rises another
day per-chance to do better. Your thoughts here, invoke the mind to think,

This is a warm loving corner for us to come and show how we feel about others, just knowing so little a time, but how we grow close in our friendship with each other, I gave a 5 but if it were higher it would be a 10+, smiling. Thank you
I was moved by what you have written, the description of each place this shadow stopped at. The bent of different characters you have in you story, from one place to the next, The end was very moving. The crunch he made on the gravel, before that I wondered if it was
death walking to his destination. If it were a man, but reading the last part of the elder lady, death sometimes gives us no chance to
be afraid.

I have been put in that position, when younger, oh you can do it, you'll
be fine. All the time your mind is whirling around. Then, quietly you sit
down and it just flows out of your fingers into the pen and onto the page,
you have written again.
