Oh my word, where do I begin. I was completely swept up in this poem. It had everything. Love, love lost, pain and heartache. It breaks your heart, but most poems do, and it tells a full story. It tells of a transformation. I know I would not be able to move on. It was hard to read, but that doesn't make it bad. Very sad, but very god. Well done.
In short, I loved it. I am a drummer. I am 38 years old and have been playing since I was four. It is in the family. My dad taught himself, and my uncle. He also taught me. I had my own band in high school, but remember being a small boy banging away. This brought me back. I guess that is what a piece should do. Bravo.
A great essay over all. I want t give you an A for bearing your soul. Most friendships come cheap, especially in middle school and high school. There are select few people, in yours and my case, we both have that one friend that we connect with, and they need you and you need them. It was courageous to do what you did for her. Remember the saying, what doesn't break us makes us stronger.
As I said, overall it is great. I would leave out the line I know each of us has to write these essays for college. Also, I am not sure on the last line. Was she holding you back and now you need to move on? You can email me. Great job and good luck in college.
Very creative. Is there a comparison you were trying to make with animals and politicians? Am I looking into it too much? Maybe I need another cup of coffee. Anyway good story. I love animals and have always wanted to try and write at least one piece about them. This is good inspiration.
This goes to show you that you don't need a lot of pages to pack a big punch. Very well thought out, very well crafted. I especially like the mage aspect. Assassin stories are some of my favorites. Spies and cloak and dagger stuff, really peak my interest. Very well done.
First off, I love scary stories. Stephen King is my favorite author, and this story had that feel to it. One of the themes in this story I think is peer pressure. Yes, Kevin wanted back out, but what would his friends say. Also, the haunting never stopped for Kevin. Loved that aspect that he is telling the story in a flash back and he lives with the terrors every day. I liked that you gt right into the story and you built it up and up. Adding the thunder was a great touch. By the way, I hate clowns because I read IT a long time ago. I loved the book, but they freak me out. You had me freaked out. Please write more/ Well done,
