This could lead to a very interesting story. I certainly hope you write out more, you have set the stage pretty well. If you don't then it's too much of a tease haha It's a classic light vs dark story but it's obvious you have some nice writing skills
I don't know what else to say except that I usually end up skipping poetry when I'm reviewing random writing, but this one really captured my attention and I enjoyed it's peculiarity and hypnotic effect
Beautiful little entry :) I got a large feeling of emotion for how little was actually said. Definitely a nice skill you have. You captured the feeling of arriving in a new place so well it made me long for more travel in my life! I hope you enjoy your travels and keep that sense of wonder.
Great dream sequence, it was a trippy read. I found several things that were confusing such as the last sentence of the first paragraph or the part where he is suddenly "Matt/Ian" not sure if that was a typo or meant to be confusing since dreams are a world where sense is gone and nothing is how it is in our reality.
