This is a fantastic and informative review on the new Friday the 13th movie, and I agree with you entirely. I loved how Jason was more creative with his killings, and wasn't the laughing stock he used to be in the previous 1980's movies. It also created an interesting insight into Jason, and we saw sides to him I don't think we've ever seen before - for instance, the network of underground caverns he roams. I felt it was a wholesome and well needed addition to the Friday 13th legend.
This is a very informative review, and I agree with you entirely. I really enjoyed this addition to the Friday the 13th collection - Jason was actually frightening, not a joke and was fantastically creative and original with his killings. I believe it revealed a very different side to Jason too, like the underground caverns for instance. That was a very interesting take on the whole Jason legend.
