You wanted me to review this poem for you, and even though, as I told you, I don't have very much experience with poetry, I can tell you that this is beautiful. It's obvious that you really thought this out and that it meant something to you as you crafted it. I'm also not sure if me being an Iraq vet myself even enhanced it. Because I think everyone will be able to appreciate this the same. It's really well done, and thanks for asking me to review it.

The City of Commesidion really takes you in immediately, and the rich detail of your description of it really transports you to the gritty streets of the waterfront market in no time. I love the name "Ariah," just struck me, and her clash with fellow thief and former protege Lauren was quite interesting. Gave me a strong sense that there's much more to this world than we're seeing here which is something I believe is one of the most important things a good fantasy writer can do.
