Review of To Be... Without
Review by Deany
Rated: E | (5.0)
The first four lines reminded me of Death, the greatest character builder of all. When a horrible person dies, people have nothing but praise to sing for these people even if they had stabbed this man in the back.

The second group was very true of people who turn from the bottle and the mask of fun that we all put on. Even when we look back with our new mask we can easily recognize the previous facade, now we look around and can't see past our new blinders.

The final group was a great way to end this. The old was left behind and the new was embraced through the barrier of fear. More than anything the problem was the fear not of loneliness but of something different.

I enjoyed the ending, the old mans comment on when his position will be switched. Also I liked the little side track in the middle aobut how we don't know anyone because the mind is always hidden even though the tounge speaks for it. The set of who sat where on the topic was extrodinary, simply a twinkle in the old mans eye was enough to tell me that he knew more than the young man did but that wasn't revealed until the end after the young man left. I enjoyed it.
