This story had me laughing from the beginning till the very end. I enjoyed how I was pulled into the story from the first paragraph and continued throughout the entire story. I loved the humor in each paragrah and found myself laughing at loud at work, as people looked at me like I'm crazy! This is a very interesting story and has captured my attention and I never read anything outside of romance which says a lot. I love the attention to detail which remains a constant in each sentence as you write. I can visualize the person, place and thing as I read and have never been to Italy. Just seems strange to me that this would go on in this day and age but hey, I'm a hopeless romantic and will stick to my genre. Good luck.
I enjoyed the opening, full of description and debth. When writing it's important to always remember that the reader isn't in your head seeing what you are writing or feeling the emotion that is put into each word, sentence and paragraph. I can actually feel the anguish felt during the fire and the reaction that followed. Looking forward to reading more.
