Nice writing. It is good that you got inspired as this was a good read. The poem has rhymes, rhymes are good. It is short, to the point and says all you need within the lines. The poem tells that maybe the writer has passed this beauty everday, but has not stopped to ask her name. I say go for it, then maybe this could be the start of a series of a poetic love tale. Short but beautiful writing which was very easy to read, it is a sad subject of a loss of life. I'm sure many will feel this poem as so many men and women and children have all been killed in the name of freedom. Great poetry you have a good word choice which means there was no need for me to get a dictionary, all was easy to understand, and that is a good thing. As for the subject it was a sad one in which you get your message across very well and alows the reader to feel your words. It seems real, but that may just be your talent showing through. I pesonally have been lucky to not have suffered from depression, but have known people who have. I love rhymes I am a fan of those myself and you rhyme well here.
