This is a good story even if I didn't get some of the words. I enjoyed reading it. I liked his climbing the face of the mountain, that is difficult and something I would never do.

I enjoyed this story! I could see Craig and all the scouts camping. My son was a scout too, and went all the way to Eagle. So I understand the other kids picking on the kid they saw as a "know it all".
Some of the sentences are a little long and maybe should be shortened. I use a lot of dialog in my stories between the characters. I was always taught that a different paragraph was necessary for different speakers. I am 74 and have not been in school in a long time, so this could have changed.
I did not find any misspelled words or bad grammar. I am not a grammar expert. I have had a lot of reviews that have corrected my grammar! I have had very helpful reviews on my writing.
When I am writing my stories, the kids take over and I write what they say. I hear them in my head and go where they lead.
