Your essay is excellent! This is coming from me, a man who has suffered from the Bipolar Disorder - mainly depression - as well as OCD for many years. I am not confused the least bit because I too have went through several of the experiences you have gone through. My only advice on the content covers just a minor thing I think would improve your writing even further. I would take what you refer to as "an unexpected bump on your road" and I would describe it and other bumps as you see fit - actually more in detail. You did a great job at describing your daily enjoyment as you are married now, you are employed, and you currently have awesome family relationships. Your writing dialog flows extremely well and I can hear a powerful voice in your writing.
